The Mercuri Fellowship is our call to young changemakers to step in—not just to observe, but to act. Rooted in empathy, dignity, and action, our fellowships are immersive, year-long journeys into the heart of India’s rural and urban landscapes.

Our fellows walk with the communities, co-create solutions, and build leadership from the ground up. As our Founder says, “Problems are a plenty. We need solutions in volumes. And people who work on those are also needed in volumes.”

Why we do this?

India has the world’s largest youth population—a powerful force waiting to be channelled. The Mercuri Fellowship is our way of transforming energy into empathy, awareness into action. This isn’t a program that teaches the right path—it enables the fellows to discover it.

Not by offering ready-made answers, but by immersing fellows in real-world challenges, where they learn to listen deeply, co-create solutions, and see the world from the lens of those often unheard. Every step becomes a lesson, every conversation a doorway to wisdom that surpasses what textbooks have to offer.

Who becomes a Fellow :

Our fellows are artists, educators, researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, students, seekers. What brings them together is a shared belief: that change is not a distant idea-it begins with us. They travel with our teams. They live in unfamiliar places. They sit in circles with communities-not as outsiders, but as equal stakeholders in this experiential learning.

In the process, they not only understand India more deeply-they begin to see the larger interconnected world and their place in shaping it. They return with questions, courage, and a clarity that comes only from walking the road less seen.
